I was Employee #1 at a brand new insurance sales operation. Our first job interviews were conducted on a folding TV tray. No CRM. No training program. No reporting. No process of any kind.
My job was to build all of it — from scratch, in real time, while simultaneously recruiting, training, and running a live sales floor. So I did.
I built the scripting platform, the onboarding system, the coaching infrastructure, and the analytics pipeline. Every agent who came through the door got a machine I had engineered myself.
